2006 Dry Riesling

2006 Dry Riesling

Tasting Date: 22 December 2015

Intense aromatics expressive of grapefruit and flint with faint kerosene notes hinting at development to come.  Subtle hints of nettles and pepper flow over salty minerality with intriguing notes of lime and agave.  The palate is mouth-watering, built on foundations of concentration, length and a searing finish.

Tasting Date: 1 January 2007

Pale Gold colour, this wine has a lively nose of pink grapefruit aromas mixed with a mineral-chalky scent that lends intrigue to its juicy start. In the mouth it is a rush of lemon zest citrus flavour buoyed on a wave of fantastic bright acidity that makes the mouth sit up and take notice as more mineral notes emerge across the palate through to a nice finish.
