Tight and precise on the nose with dark fruit characters, wood spice and hints of leather. On the palate, absolute classic Calvert: a tight core of pure fruit that sits on the centre of the tongue, transparent, yet almost burning an impression with its concentration and purity. A single-minded elegance drives the wine. Sophisticated and sustained but still approachable. Impeccable.
